Seems to me he's being hung, drawn and quartered by Abbott before there's any sort of judicial inquiry. The real 'joke' is that Turnbull was up for the same 'offence' but was allowed to keep working while it was sorted out!! Hypocrisy at its worst.

Wandering by to say 'Hi'. Completely flat out at the moment, studying 2 courses and teaching 3, plus buying a townhouse on the Gold Coast for our big move in a few months. All the developments are good ones, though. Hope all's well with all here.

Everything out of the garages.
Everything out of the whole house.

Mind boggling is one way of putting it

May well need CC help on this one

Mutation i was commenting on the notion that Muslims aren't in-fact fighting their fires, which was the entire point of the original post.

It contained an unfortunate view based soley on their ignorance of the real worl situation, nothing moe, nothing less. I felt it needed some correction so i provided it.

As for the threats in this small part of the world, the only terror attacks that actually killed anyone in Australia were carried out by "Christians", first by Armenians and then by ASUS/ASIO (CHOGOM Bombing).

So exactly who poses the biggest threat?

Regards,

Crimson

I wasnt talking about terrorism per se I was talking about cultural impact of Islam wherever it takes root!

Expanding for Crimson et al

I've a work mate there right now
Sending thru daily pics and issues they are dealing with

REALLY NOT NICE PICS
Of two guys who decided to try and strip the copper wire from some very recently installed power/phone lines...let's just say that some parts of then were not melted into the bitumen

Of a building where the water is piped in one side and out the other...the other being the toilet pipe , which has been blown up and 'things' are floating into a pool where little kids are splashing

Of the body of a worker...really NOT nice, skin flayed off him and hanging in strips
Why?
He took a job to feed his family, and extended  family, and extended friends
Paid a pittance by our standards, but a forune by theirs
Sign hung around his neck
" God Hates everyone"

It's been an insight and a half with getting the things my friend needs to 'share' or go spastic trying to cope with

Npw all of that would depend on many a multitude of variables Mutation nor is such an out-come a one way street.

There are many cultural changes that have effected much of the Western World negatively and very few of them if any are related to the increased number of Muslims living in the West.

A far more dominant culture is engulfing the West and that is culture is mostly American Popular Culture and all of what goes with it.

Even trendy upwardly mobile Muslims in the West are wearing American Clothes, listening to American Music, using American Slang and generally emulating everything Popular American, even in the suburbs of Sydney young Muslims are far more American Popular Gangsta than they are old fashioned Arabic or in any way religious.

For every Islamic Zealot that is created in this world there are a million Coka-Cola drinking hip-hop listening Americanised Muslims walking the streets.

Mini-Skirts in Egypt, Strip Clubs in Lebanon and the love of wealth everywhere else in-between is a sure sign that in the end the World will be far more American than it ever will be Islamic.

Minx it is indeed a strange world and many places in the Middle East are not immune from that.

Once you step out of the first world and into the third the craziness is magnified.

I dont agree with your off the cuff million to one ratio but in either case they are about as welcome as each other as far as i am concerned so for the sake of convenience i simply dont bother to differentiate between them.

I was perhaps being rather general, though there are plenty of Westernised Muslims in the World and that number is growing quite rapidly and i like you Mutation am not a great fan of American Popular Culture, it is perhaps responsible for as many deaths each year as terrorism is.

Ze German's view of Islam is interesting - but not new.

For every action there is an opposite reaction.
People usually get the government they deserve.
