Seems to me he's being hung, drawn and quartered by Abbott before there's any sort of judicial inquiry. The real 'joke' is that Turnbull was up for the same 'offence' but was allowed to keep working while it was sorted out!! Hypocrisy at its worst.

So are you saying that because Stalin, Hitler and others did not say, "I am doing this in the name of atheism" then we cannot blame atheism for what they were responsible for?

Your poor choice of words not mine but essentially yes!

Atheism has lead to the greatest of human miseries, it is a tenet of socialism and it is enforced by many socialist regimes, the fact that you Mutation refuse to accept the realit can only be described as the Godless Delusion.

Your not the sharpest pencil in the box are you? Above you in your own words you clearly state  that Atheism is a tenet of SOCIALISM. That is the exact point i have been trying to get across to you . They were not driven by their atheism but by their ideology which out of convenience or expediency embraced or required atheism not the other way around!

Really if you cant see that point i have nothing more to say on the subject.

They could have always chosen the keep their faith, they chose godlessness and then went on to do godless evil things. It wasn't Catholics, Hindus, Budhists, Mormons, Muslims, Lutherins or any other theist group who committed those evil acts, it was atheists

As an atheist, own your legacy like you demand all those theists do.

Crimson, you can usually see when a person is losing an argument/debate - they resort to name calling.

This person will never accept what people of his "faith" have done.

Indeed, some people aimply can nopt see the truth infront of them or just willing to see, atheists have one common themse with theists, that is the absolute unshakable belief that they are right above all others and therefore get to ramn thier ideals down everyone elses throat. Then they have the nerve to complain about it happening to them and calling us evil when their own history is ull of peopple like Pol Pot, Mao Tse Tung, Hilte, Stalin and Lennin, people responsible for far more human suffering that religion ever could have acheived.

But of-course to the evangelic atheists, they're right andabove all reproach, theie dogma is as sordid as they claim all other ideas are, their grasp upon reality is as l;oose as thei grasp on morality. I dare say that there is not one atheist nor nor has there ever been nor will there ever be one that will achieve something as noteworthy and great as any great theist from history.

No atheist will ever save the world or humanity from itself, they'll jusr complain about how everyone else belives something different and endeavour to make them feel guilty for it, which is after-all, all atheists do.

Why would someone who has concluded that faith is exactly that  a choice to believe in what isnt then choose to continue the pretense of belief?
You dont choose godlessness it is a state we are all in you just find comfort in the delusion of faith!
I notice again you have failed to answer a single one of my questions or challenges.
I have no legacy as I share nothing with those you mention. In fact I specifically have no shared belief with them we are totally separate unlike your legacy of faith!

I am loosing nothing buddy and I have no shared faith with others but good try !
I love the way the faithful whatever their creed no matter if its their sworn enemy will join arms against an atheist when they feel threatened. I can understand it I just think it funny you teaming up with your theological nemesis to fight off the evil atheist!

If there is truth in what you say then you have failed to express it!
Unshakable belief I wouldnt go that far I could be convinced i am wrong but it would require god or at least his son making a personal and verifiable appearance in my lounge room!
It wouldnt even then induce me to worship him simply force me to recognize his existence nothing more!
You keep rattling off the same despots post after post but you have failed to notice wha else they have in common besides atheism.
The other thing you overlook is a leader good or bad has a certain character a determination a ruthlessness that sets him apart from the rest. They can choose to do good or evil and they will likely do either to the fullest thought having or not having belief in a mythical godlike creator in not likely to be the sole reason that type of person will choose one path over another.
I am not an evangelist for atheism or anything else. Conclusions only have value when you come to them yourself. I would rather the company of one self realized atheist than a hundred converted to it!

Atheists are indeed not likely to be the saviors of the world simply because the lack by definition the power harnessed by a monotheistic culture. Its a powerful thing a massive force for good but equally and inevitably also for evil and that alone is too high a price for the world to have to pay.

I wouldn't put Christians on the top of my  my hit list either at best they rank about 3 or 4!

What about a nice hymn on this fine Monday morning:

Onward, Christian Soldiers

Onward, Christian Soldiers

Mahalia Jackson - Onward, Christian soldier

Mahalia Jackson - Onward, Christian soldiers

Preacher bambu will now deliver a short sermon:

"The Christian West is going to hell in a handbasket...wake up!"

There's plenty to eat, if it were all shared around.

Now the 'rabid' greenies and 'Copenhageners' want to turn the world's food crops into bio-fuel!

http://www.theaustralian.com.au/news/world/deadly-riots-in-mozambique-as-food-prices-rise/story-e6frg6so-1225913714936

Deadly riots in Mozambique as food prices rise

MOZAMBIQUE'S capital endured a second day of deadly rioting over rising food prices as the United Nations warned that the effects of a global spike in the cost of staples would hit the world's poor the hardest.

Shops were looted, cars set ablaze, roads barricaded and one of the Maputo protesters killed, bringing the death toll to seven after two days of violence prompted by soaring bread prices. One of the dead was a six-year-old girl on her way home from school.

Rising wheat prices raise fears over UK commitment to biofuels

The soaring price of wheat has raised questions about the UK's commitment to biofuels as it attempts to wean itself from its dependence on oil.

A network of biorefineries that convert wheat and other crops into bioethanol that can then be blended with petrol are being developed as the UK looks to meet its EU renewable transport fuels obligations.

But the huge amounts of wheat that will be used in the process – up to a fifth of the UK's current annual production within four years – have prompted questions about where the crop will come from.

Yes, you are correct. If there are people starving it is OUR fault. Look at the amount of food that is wasted in Australia alone with supermarkets throwing out overstocked items. And the fact that we have those stupid record making attempts of the most pies/hot-dogs/hamburgers/etc eaten in a given time. Gluttony - not done to quell their appetite and therefore just a waste. It is up to us to something for our neighbour (and that does not necessarily refer to the person next door to you - it is a university neighbour).
